Gaurav Kapoor

Gaurav is the Senior Private Sector Development Adviser with DFID, India. A seasoned adviser, Gaurav has about 20 years of experience across responsible PE/VC investments, investment funds, corporate development and policy reform having worked in domestic and international markets. Gaurav brings substantial policy advocacy experience on economic development interventions such as business climate reform, making markets work in the low income states and ensuring value for money, in partnership with the Indian Government and apex institutions on India’s progressive reform agenda.Gaurav holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, France and Wharton, USA and a B.Eng (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Mohan Harshey

Shri Mohan was a Partner at Tata Capital Innovations Fund, which he helped conceptualize and set up. He has spent 30 years at the State Bank of India (SBI) and has vast experience in investments, merchant banking, SME & Corporate lending and private equity.

S.P. Singh

Shri Satya Prakash Singh is the current CEO of SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd. A Post Graduate in Economics and MBA Finance, Shri Singh has experience of more than 25 years in Banking and Academics. He is a certified associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He has handled variety of development banking assignments in different parts of the country during last over 20 years in SIDBI besides handling the direct credit and treasury operations. He has very closely worked in several important MSME clusters in the country and successfully implemented multiple new initiatives for the overall development of MSMEs. He participated in several international programmes on MSME financing and development and represented SIDBI as part of high level delegation for multilateral and bilateral negotiations. Prior to his current assignment he was managing treasury operations in SIDBI and handled research & data analytics, microfinance operations and direct credit. He has closely worked with several multilateral and bilateral agencies for mobilizing cost effective resources for the larger benefit of MSMEs. He has represented SIDBI on the Boards of several companies.

SIDBI Venture Capital Limited (SVCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SIDBI, incorporated in July 1999. It currently acts as an Investment Manager to seven funds with a combined corpus in excess of Rs.1700 crore. The seven funds are as under :

RV Dilip Kumar
Sr. VP & CFO, Samridhi In-Charge

Shri, Dilip Kumar is the Nominee Director of SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd (SVCL). He has been with SVCL since its inception in 1999 and was part of the core team which had set up SIDBI Ventures, SIDBI Trustee Company and National Venture Fund for Software & IT Industry (NFSIT). Besides being CFO of SVCL, he is the Fund Manager of Samridhi Fund, a social venture fund and represents SVCL on the Boards of some portfolio companies, where he has played an active role in strategy, corporate governance, building up systems and processes, etc. Prior to joining SVCL in 1999, Dilip was with SIDBI for nearly 8 years with experience in credit appraisal, accounts and audit functions. He is a Post Graduate in Commerce and Economics, AICWA, CS (Inter), PGDBA and CAIIB.

Dhara Mehta

Dhara is a Chartered Accountant and Bachelor of Law (L.L.B.) with 14 years of post-qualification work experience in venture capital fund, tax and regulatory aspects of corporate restructuring, transactions and mergers & acquisitions. Dhara has been with SIDBI Venture since 2011 and previously worked with Big 4 accounting firms for around 4 years. Dhara has been with Samridhi Fund since its inception in 2013 and was part of the core team which set up Samridhi Fund. She plays an active role representing SVCL on the Boards of several portfolio companies across diverse sectors as a Director and Observer.
